Asante Tracey- ACTRA, OCT​

From humble beginnings in small-town Alberta, Asante has now amassed 10+ years experience as a Toronto-based professional actor, starring on screen, television and stage in such titles as The Love Club, Taken, Mouthpiece, Cooking Up Love, Titans, the world premiere of Tennessee William’s The Big Game, and award-winning performances in Holdout, The Devil’s Tale and Grey.

 

Asante has also written, starred in, and produced several independent productions including The Bulldog Effect, The Girl With Rose Coloured Glasses and The Defiants. 

 

Asante is currently a Professor of Acting at Seneca Polytechnic- rated top 20 in Canada- and most recently has put on a workshop at the esteemed Pro Actors Lab Studio in Toronto’s west end.

 

Loving the play and deeply personal expression of acting more than anything, Asante is

over-joyed at the opportunity to utilize his storytelling and teaching abilities gained over the years to share this passion with other aspiring artists around the world.
